Following Parliamentary approval, the UK Border Agency (UKBA) announced the new fee schedule for settlement applications. The changes to the schedule, which include fees for a UK marriage visa, UK fiancee visa, UK de facto partner visa, UK civil partnership visa will be implemented on 6th April 2011. The new fees are as follows:
Settlement visa applications made from outside the UK:
UK marriage (spousal) visa – from £750 to £810
UK fiancee/fiance visa – from £750 to £810
UK proposed civil partner visa – from £750 to £810
UK de facto (unmarried) partner visa – from £750 to £810
UK civil partnership visa – from £750 to £810
Applications made from inside the UK:
Further Leave to Remain (FLR) – from £800 to £850 (applications made in person at a Public Enquiry Office (PEO)
Further Leave to Remain (FLR) – from £500 to £550 for postal applications
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – from £1,250 to £1,350 (applications made in person at a Public Enquiry Office (PEO) Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – from£900 to £972 for postal applications (no dependants)
Note: a separate fee is charged for dependents.
