New UK marriage visa fees proposed
The UK immigration minister Damian Green has proposed a further increase in settlement and non-settlement visa application fees. Subject to Parliamentary approval, the new fee schedule is expected to become effective on 6 April 2012. The proposed fees are outlined below:
Settlement visa applications made from outside the UK:
UK marriage (spousal) visa – from current £810 to £826
UK fiancee/fiance visa – from current £810 to £826
UK proposed civil partner visa – from current £810 to £826
UK de facto (unmarried) partner visa – from current £810 to £826
UK civil partnership visa – from current £810 to £826
Applications made from inside the UK:
Further Leave to Remain (FLR) – from £850 to £867 (applications made in person at a Public Enquiry Office (PEO)
Further Leave to Remain (FLR) – from £550 to £561 for postal applications
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – from £1,350 to £1,377 (applications made in person at a Public Enquiry Office (PEO)
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – from£972 to £991 for postal applications (no dependants)
Note: a separate fee is charged for dependents.
