Initial consultation and eligibility assessment
At this preliminary step in the immigration process, we will inform you whether you meet the basic eligibility requirements to sponsor your foreign wife, husband, or partner for a New Zealand family visa. Our immigration consultants will make a determination on your eligibility within 24 hours of initial contact. All initial consultations with our immigration specialists are provided at no cost to you.
Engaging our professional services
If our immigration consultants determine that your partner is eligible to apply for a visa, we will send you further information explaining how to engage our services. You will receive our start-up material, along with information about our fees and acceptable methods of payment. We will not agree to represent you or ask you to pay a fee unless we are confident that you and your partner meet the basic requirements to apply for a resident visa.
Receiving detailed instructions from us
Immediately after you have hired our firm to handle your migration matter, we will send you our detailed instructions via e-mail or express mail. Included in these instructions will be an outline of the documents you will be required to submit as part of your application. We will also contact your wife, husband, or partner to explain what she or he needs to provide at this point. To make this process as easy as possible, we employ multilingual professionals who speak fluent Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Tagalog, Japanese, and Russian. We can provide important information and answer any questions in your partner's native tongue.
Document gathering
You and your partner will need to gather all the required documents and send them to us for processing. In the interest of expediting the submission of your application, you can send us your paperwork by fax or via e-mail, or to upload your documents using our online case management system. This reflects our “we do not waste a day” policy.
Professional form preparation
Once we have received all of your documents, we will prepare your visa application forms in accordance with the highest professional standards. All New Zealand resident visa applications that we undertake are prepared by our senior immigration consultants on the same day we receive the required paperwork.
Signing the forms
You and your partner will need to sign the application forms and send them back to us for submission to the appropriate government agency. To reduce waiting times, we will e-mail your visa application forms to you and your loved one, or you may download them from our online case management system. If you do not have Internet access, we will deliver your application forms to you by express mail. We use DHL, UPS, or TNT courier services.
Submission
The filing procedures for application vary, depending on the Consulate and the country in which the applicant resides. Unless we schedule an appointment for your partner to submit the application in person, we will lodge your case with the appropriate New Zealand Embassy, Consulate or High Commission on the same day we receive the signed application forms. We will make every possible effort to ensure that your application forms and any supporting documentation are complete, accurate and easy to review, encouraging the examining migration officers to approve your application as quickly as possible.

Continued monitoring and correspondence with
New Zealand Embassy
Once submitted, we will provide you with regular updates about the status of your case. This includes informing you when the Embassy confirms receipt of your case, advising you of any requests for you or your partner to appear for an initial interview, and providing any other information that is relevant to your application. We will personally handle all telephone, e-mail, fax and mail correspondence with the New Zealand Embassy on your behalf.
Full pre-interview preparation
The interview is the most crucial part of the resident visa process. Our immigration consultants will ensure your spouse or partner is fully prepared for this important event. This includes ensuring your loved one brings all the required supporting documents to the interview, and that she or he is relaxed and mentally prepared for what the interview entails. By corresponding with your wife, husband, or partner through phone, or meeting in person, we will fully prepare him or her and make sure s/he is as relaxed and confident as possible.
Visa interview
The location and time of your partner’s interview will be related to you and your loved one as soon as we receive an official confirmation from the New Zealand Embassy. If your partner has any last minute questions, your case representative can be contacted on their mobile phone on the day of the interview.
Visa approval
We will inform you immediately when we receive an electronic notification of your visa approval. At this final stage, a passport should be sent to the Embassy for visa endorsement. Your partner will receive the visa as soon as all the necessary final processing is complete.
Additional visa services
We will be happy to assist you in applying for any additional immigration benefits after your wife, husband, or partner has successfully obtained a resident visa to immigrate to New Zealand.
